EUROP/EURON Annual Meeting 2010

The 2010 EUROP and EURON annual meeting will be on March 10-12, 2010 in San Sebastian, Spain.

The three day event consists of:

- Day1 (March 10) - EUROP General Assembly and workshop

- Day 2 (March 11) - Common day, EUROP and EURON jointly organising collaborative workshops

- Day 3 (March 12) - EURON General Assembly and workshop

For the first time both EUROP and EURON will hold their annual meetings during the same period and at the same location. Both EUROP and EURON members welcome this opportunity for exchange and communication of ideas among their members.  Also, this move will surely facilitate EUROP and EURON's joint collaboration efforts in organising workshops during the common day.

The industry driven EUROP and the academic network of EURON are both in agreement that the future of robotics in Europe highly depends on the collaborative efforts of both the robotics industry and its academic counterpart.

This move is also in line with the vision of the SRA (Strategic Reseach Agenda for Robotics in Europe). The upcoming annual meetings of EUROP and EURON will set the stage for a stronger tie and a more fruitful future cooperation between the two.
