Call for Transnational Research Projects - ICT-AGRI ERA-NET

ICT-AGRI is launching transnational research calls based on funds from participating countries. Transnational consortia consisting of research institutes from at least three ICT-AGRI partner countries are invited to submit pre-proposals for this call. Researchers from countries that are not partners in the ICT-AGRI ERA-NET can participate in a project consortium with own funding for the projects. Participating countries include: Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Turkey.

Call topic: Integrated ICT and automation for sustainable agricultural production - the aim of this joint call is to enable joint transnational research projects based on complementarities and sharing of expertise within ICT and Robotics in Agriculture.

Projects are expected to apply a systems approach addressing farm level integration of information technology, communication technology, automation and robotics. Projects must have a clear Euroepan added value by being carried out on a transnational level.

The budget for this pilot call will be approximately € 2.5 million and the project will have a duration of 12 - 24 months.

The ICT-AGRI ERA-NET  is the Coordination of European Research within ICT and Robotics in Agriculture and related Environmental Issues - it is an EU funded network of cross-thematic nature relating to Theme 2 (Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, and Biotechnology). Theme 3 (Information and Communication Technologies) and Theme 6 (Environment including Climate Change).
