European Robotics Projects at AUTOMATICA 2010

This year at the AUTOMATICA International Trade Fair for Automation and Mechatronics, 8-11 June 2010 in Munich, EUnited Robotics European Robotics Association had organized a joint booth under the brand name euRobotics, exhibiting four of the European robotics research projects funded by the European Commission. The four exhibited projects received a wide range of enthusiastic visitors including the general public, members of the robotics industry, robotics research, academia and also the European Commission. |

The following are the four EC funded projects at the AUTOMATICA:
- euRobotics - Coordinated by KUKA Roboter
- BRICS - Coordinated by KUKA Roboter
- DEXMART - Coordinated by Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II (UNINA)
- ECHORD - Coordinated by Technische Universität München (TUM)

The four day event is considered to be one of the most important international trade fairs in automation and mechatranics. AUTOMATICA 2010 housed 708 exhibiting companies from 42 different countries, and 31,000 visitors from 114 countries visited the trade fair. Four fully packed exhibition halls representing 44,000 sqaure meters were open to the visitors.
