The first European Robotics Week well on its way at full steam
Over 340 robotics related activities organised by more than 125 organisations in 18 countries across Europe during the European Robotics Week (Nov. 28 - Dec. 4, 2011)
There is a lot going on within Europe in terms of "robo-technology" during Nov. 28th through Dec. 4th: open labs, guided tours, challenges, robots in action on public squares, robotics lectures for kids, .... For the first time a week-long series of events and activities is organized throughout Europe just to increase the general public's awareness of the growing importance of robotics technology and the tremendous social and cultural impact that it will have on the future of the European society. The week is also aimed at inspiring the interest of kids and students of all ages to study science and technology.
